Utility for Opening GSTR 2A Returns Downloaded Online

Current Official Offline tool scenario 

Offline tool Was Provided by GSTN by end of july
Although the tool has option to view GSTR 2A details downloaded from website.But same is not available for use.

In view to overcome this I have created a utility tool (unofficial) to convert json file to csv file
Although its still in beta so errors may be expected

you can report ur experiences and errors below over here



How to use this tool

1.Download utility from here 32bit 64Bit
2.download 2A file online
3.Follow steps and follow screenshots below

2.How to download GSTR 2 A file online

i.Login to gst portal
ii.Navigate to returns dashboard
iii.After that search period of return and there will be GSTR 2A Option Available for download as in screenshot

iv.After downloading file extract file using winrar or any other zip extracter

3.Steps of usage of offline utility

i.After downloading exe
ii.Just double click exe
iii.it will open a dialog box in some time
iv.Navigate to json file as shown above
v. csv file will be available in short time in same directory of downloaded utility
file will be saved as vinfur_purchase_<GSTIN>.csv
where <GSTIN> will be gst no of party



Caution:

This utility is created in a very short time and is not tested throughly
there may be errors and ommissions which may or may not be solved in future versions
I (developer) wont be liable for any losses or damages caused by use of this tool
Utility is provided free for Benefit of public at large
This software is in no way affiliated with GSTN

 Known Issues:
1.Credit /Debit notes arent Exported to CSV

      Its False Positive
      i will give you Report of most of virus results
      Try excluding it in your antivirus
      microsoft essentials doesnt mark it as virus
      I guess only mcafee marks it as virus
      here are your file results

      its just false positive

    searched here and there for this kind of tool, no one works freely.but it works really. thanks a lot. igst value differ with JSON value. SGST and cGST found ok . have to verify the igst total.thanks a lot

      Will Check up Whats Matter With IGST
      Normally it shouldnt Be a problem will verify and let you know what are outcomes

      I Checked up with json file
      and it showed correct value
      may i know what exact value error you are facing
      i guess its error from ur supplier and not error of utility
